Arborescence is a non-profit community organization. We support the families and the entourage of a person living with a mental health disorder. 

 

Founded in 1980, the organization was formerly known as AQPAMM (Quebec Association of Parents and Friends of Persons with Mental Illness).

Arborescence because around the person living with a mental health disorder, there is a whole network, like the roots and the branches attaching to the trunk to make up the tree.

Arborescence to evoke this relational system that we have been supporting for more than 40 years now.

​

A new name and a new image to evoke these links that we weave with our members and our customers and the links that unite them to the people they themselves support.

Together, we form Arborescence.
