About the event
Are you a loved one of a senior living with a mental health disorder?
Discover our series of “Helping in balance” workshops dedicated to Caregivers of Seniors.
Arborescence offers you a series of 9 workshops, specially designed to inform you, support you, offer you a space for reflection, and support you in your role.
The role of caregiver can be taxing, giving rise to emotions such as helplessness, frustration, irritability, worry, preoccupation, exhaustion and even loss of control. You may feel the need to take a step back to better understand your position. This is where our workshops come into play. They will help you develop a deeper understanding of the situation and reflect on your own role in the relationship.
WorkshopsHelping with Balance offer:
- Information: You will enrich your knowledge about mental health among seniors.
- Support: You will acquire effective strategies to preserve your balance while remaining available to your loved one.
- Support and exchange: You will meet other loved ones in a small group environment, where you can share your experiences and realize that you are not alone in this situation.
- Recharged Energy: You will become aware of your own energy level and learn to take care of yourself, because taking care of someone else starts with taking care of yourself.
Our workshops will help you take a step back and observe the situation with a more enlightened perspective, breaking the isolation that can accompany this experience. You will be guided by specialists throughout this process.
