About the event

Take a look at the reality of members of the entourage of a senior who lives with mental health issues.

As part of National Caregiver Week, we invite you to a unique event at the crossroads between mental health and aging.

On November 5, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., join us for the screening of a magnificent documentary directed by Élizabeth Salazar Orozco. This film offers an intimate glimpse into the reality of caregivers, through the touching testimonies of a partner, a mother, a brother and a friend. The event will begin with a buffet, followed by the screening of the documentary. A coffee break with biscuits will precede an enriching panel discussion. This will bring together Élizabeth Salazar Orozco (MA, TS, and director), Professor Maryse Soulières (Ph.D., TS, assistant professor, School of Social Work), and a member of Arborescence who will share her personal testimony.

In addition, kiosks offered by other community organizations and the health sector will be present to provide members of the community with relevant information and resources.
